8GB KIT 4GBX2 DDR3-1067mhz MacBook Pro Late 2008-Mid 2009
The 8GB Kit contains (2) 4GB DDR3-1067Mhz, PC3-8500, CL=7, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, 1.5V, 204pin SO-DIMM.
For MacBook Pro 2008 - 2010
The original series "Unibody" MacBook Pro runs DDR3-1067 memory. The early model (5,1) has a 6GB max out of the box, and can upgraded to 8GB when running Snow Leopard (10.6.6) or later and the latest Apple Firmware. All other models (5,2 5,3 5,4 5,5 6,1 and 6,2) have a 8GB max out of the box.
Non-Stacked IC's: Eagle Memory uses a Non-stacked module for the 8GB DDR3 module for the MacBook Pro. The cheaper stacked IC variety of 4GB SO-DIMM draws more power, which increases heat and decreases battery life. Eagle Memory ONLY uses premium non-stacked chips.
